The Annularis Angelfish (Pomacanthus annularis), also widely known as the Blue Ring Angelfish or Blue King Angelfish, is an elite and majestic marine species featuring a stunning golden-brown body adorned with curved, horizontal neon-blue stripes that radiate across its flanks. It is instantly recognizable by a prominent, electric-blue ring located just behind its eye and a stark white tail fin that contrasts beautifully with its rich coloration. As a full-sized large angelfish rather than a dwarf species, it undergoes a complete color transformation from its dark blue juvenile stage and grows into a dominant, high-status centerpiece fish.
Tank Requirements
Minimum Tank Size: 180 to 220 gallons or larger; requires an extensive horizontal footprint to prevent stress-induced pacing and support its rapid growth.
Aquarium Decor: Massive live rock layouts configured with high-ceiling arches and deep, shaded caves where it can claim a territory and escape intense lighting. It requires high-capacity protein skimming to preserve pristine water quality.

Care and Feeding
