Crucial Safety Constraints
Fishless Cycling Only: This product contains active ammonia. Do not ever add this product to an aquarium containing live fish, invertebrates, corals, or live plants. It is strictly designed to build a bio-filter before any livestock is introduced.
Does Not Contain Bacteria: QuikCycl is purely a food source (nutrients); it does not contain live micro-organisms. It must be paired with a high-quality live bacterial culture, such as Brightwell MicrōBacter Start XLM or Start XLF, to successfully initiate the cycle.
No Chemical Media: Do not use activated carbon, GFO, or any other chemical resins/absorbents during the cycling phase. Leaving them online will pull the vital nutrients out of suspension and stall the biological cycle.
